GoBauer LLC operates gobauer.com. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit this website or contact us through its links.
This website presents our consulting services. You do not need an account to browse it. This policy covers the website and related inquiries. Separate product documentation or agreements describe information handling within our software products and client engagements.
Information you provide
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any other information you choose to include, such as your name, company, telephone number, or service location. We use this information to respond and discuss your request.
The website's email link opens your email application. Clicking it does not automatically send a message. Please avoid sending passwords, financial account details, or other sensitive information in an initial inquiry.
Information used to operate the website
Loading a webpage involves technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and the files your browser requests. Our website hosting and delivery providers process technical information to deliver and protect their services.
We use a consent-management service to display cookie choices and remember your preferences. Necessary consent storage can remain active when optional analytics is rejected.
Protected downloads and bot checks
You can download our planning PDFs, executive resources, and fictional sample Readiness Review without providing your name or email address. When you start a download, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated traffic. Cloudflare processes technical signals, including your IP address, browser information, and the website where the check runs, to provide and improve bot protection. This check is required to download these PDFs and runs even if you decline optional analytics.
Cloudflare also hosts the service that delivers the PDFs. Cloudflare processes Turnstile signals on its own behalf to improve its bot detection. Optional download analytics follow your cookie choices. Learn more in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Optional analytics and cookies
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and improve its content. Analytics may include pages viewed, interactions, referring websites, browser and device information, approximate location, and cookie-based identifiers. This is website usage information; you do not need to create an account to be measured.
Optional analytics is off until you accept it. You can choose Accept, Reject, or Preferences in the banner. You can also reopen Preferences to change your choice. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from reading the website or contacting us.
Changing your choice affects future collection. It does not automatically erase information already collected. You can also use your browser's controls to remove stored cookies. Removing consent storage may cause the banner to appear again.

Cookie expiration and the retention of information already sent to a service are different. Browser limits and your own deletion choices can shorten how long a cookie remains on your device.
Service providers and external links
We use service providers for website hosting and delivery, bot protection, consent management, business email, and optional Google Analytics measurement. Cloudflare provides the protected PDF downloads and bot checks. Google hosts our business email. These providers process information in connection with the services they provide. Their services may involve processing in countries other than your own.

Links to LinkedIn and other external websites take you to services operated by other organizations. Their privacy policies apply when you use those services.
We do not sell your contact information.
We do not use a CRM for inquiries, maintain a mailing list, or send promotional emails.
How long information is kept
We generally retain routine prospective-client inquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. If an inquiry becomes a client engagement, we generally retain material agreements, approvals, billing records, and related business correspondence for the engagement and for seven years after completion or final payment, whichever is later. We may retain relevant records longer when needed for legal obligations, audits, or disputes. Client working data is handled according to the engagement agreement and applicable requirements.
The table above describes website storage, analytics, and download services. Removing a browser cookie does not itself delete records already held by a provider.
Your choices and requests
You can change optional cookie choices through Preferences. You can also contact us to ask about information you have provided or to request access, correction, or deletion. Available rights and exceptions depend on the laws that apply to your request. We may need enough information to verify a request and locate relevant records.

No method of online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us if you have a concern about information you have sent to us.
